It will soon be rodeo time! Thanks in large part to your support, 2021-22 has been a very successful year for the Ellensburg Rodeo Hall of Fame Museum (ERHOF) at the Western Art and Culture Center (WCAC), 416 N. Pearl. We are grateful to our lifetime and sustaining members. Read on, mark your calendars, and please join us in our summer Ellensburg Rodeo Hall of Fame Museum activities.

As ERHOF members, you are the first to know: The 2022 Inductees to the Ellensburg Rodeo Hall of Fame are Dick and J. D. Yates, the Kittitas County Junior Sheriff’s Posse, and the saddle bronc Spring Planting!  This stellar group will be inducted into the Ellensburg Rodeo Hall of Fame on August 27, 5-9 pm, at Spirit Therapeutic Riding Center, 1051 Sorenson Road.

**Dick and J. D. Yates are father-son members of a famed Colorado family of team and steer roping and barrel racing competitors with strong ties to the Ellensburg Rodeo.

**Founded in 1958, the Kittitas County Junior Sheriff’s Posse rode across two decades of Ellensburg rodeo history, participating in parades, playday competitions, trail rides, and mounted drill exhibitions.

**Spring Planting, a saddle bronc from the Big Bend/Flying 5 Columbia plateau string, was 2009 and 2013 Professional Rodeo Cowboys Association Saddle Bronc of the Year. The mare thrilled Ellensburg crowds and has bucked at the National Finals Rodeo.
